For file conversion, the document is read and processed in the browser and is not uploaded to anydoctomd's server. Results remain in the current tab until you copy or download them. OCR may fetch its processing assets on first use, and URL mode requests the public page directly from your browser.

Is anydoctomd a private document converter?+
It is browser-first for file conversion: supported files are processed on-device and are not sent to anydoctomd's conversion backend. The site itself can still make normal analytics, font, and asset requests.
Can I search my converted files?+
Yes. Find in files searches the Markdown results held in the current browser tab. It does not upload or index them on a server.
Is it fully offline?+
Not necessarily on the first use. Some app, font, PDF, or OCR assets may need to load from the network. After assets are available, many conversions can run without a document upload.
